House of Psalms began in our first home in Howell, MI in 2013. Lindsey and I had a desire to open our home for an extended time of prayer and worship.
House of Psalms ministry is birthed out of a desire to live out Ephesians 5:18-20. Whether we're leading mainstream or original worship songs in a church service, teaching vocalists and musicians theology and helping them hone their craft, or recording EP's, House of Psalms exists to minister to God's heart, to His people, and the lost.
We have been blessed with four beautiful and gifted children who also happen be musical!
Our original songs encompass eclectic sounds with a style ranging from John Mark McMillan to the etherial textures of Explosions in the Sky while maintaining a sound steeped in blues roots. Our songs vary in structure from personal testimonies to congregational songs of worship.
Many of our congregational songs of praise rise up out of the prophetic call, "The Spirit and the bride say, 'Come!' And let the one who hears say, 'Come!' Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life" Revelation 22:17. We desire to point the hearts of man to behold the Risen King Jesus and exalt Him so the nations will take notice and enter in because "every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord!"
